R. Kelly Is Set To Have A Busy 2020, It Will Either Be The Best Or Worst Year Of His Life
R. Kelly’s trial for his alleged sexual misconduct offenses has been scheduled for April 27, 2020, according to recent reports.
It will take a while before Kelly is able to appear in court and plead his case, but that is nothing out of the ordinary for a case as significant as this one in the legal world.
On the other hand, Kelly’s specific case has been full of various surprise developments that have continuously cast doubt on its future outcome, further adding to the controversial nature of the situation.
The legendary singer is facing charges for sexual misconduct against minors, and he had also allegedly spent a lot of money in attempts to re-buy tapes depicting some of his vulgar encounters.
All of this remains to be discussed at length in court, and the Chicago native has maintained a firm position on the situation in the meantime.
Kelly also recently made the surprising request to be taken out of solitary confinement.
His attorney claimed that his client was being held in unreasonable conditions and that the R&B legend did not deserve to be isolated from the rest of the world in this manner.
After his request was granted, Kelly was reportedly doing quite well in general population and has not faced any issues with other inmates as some suspected he would.
