Oh no! Is he doing Okay? Zac Efron apparently tore his ACL and needed surgery!

The actor later took to social media to share a picture of him in a wheelchair and also update his many loyal fans on his condition.

According to Zac, his health problem was caused by him taking a pretty bad tumble while snowboarding on the slopes at Sundance.

Upon returning to Los Angeles, the Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile star had no choice but undergo surgery in order to fix his torn ACL on the left leg.

Judging by the pic in which he was making a silly face, it is safe to say that despite the accident and going through surgery, Zac Efron is in great spirits and recovering just fine.

The pic was taken outside the medical facility and in the caption, the actor wrote: ‘I tore my ACL shredding the gnar :/ but all is good. I opted for surgery so I can come back stronger than ever. Thank you to Dr. Kvitne and his team at Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center. I’ll keep you updated as I heal and progress! Thanks for all the love and positivity!’

He also posted the exact same message on his Instagram but chose a different pic apparently taken earlier on while he was still recuperating.

The actor can be seen in the hospital bed, looking a bit pained after the surgery.

Still, he made sure to give a thumbs up to the camera, assuring his fans that he is going to be just fine.

Speaking of, his followers were quick to shower him with love and well wishes.
